Hello, I’m Kristine O’Hara, and I believe healing is most powerful when it considers the whole person — body, mind, and spirit.
My yoga journey began back in 2010, when I first enrolled in yoga teacher training after realizing how much the practice helped me cope with stress in my own life. Over the past 15+ years of practicing yoga and more than a decade of teaching, my path has shifted from leading movement-based classes to exploring the deep therapeutic potential of yoga. This passion led me to complete over 1000 hours of yoga therapy training, with a strong focus on mental health and nervous system regulation.
In parallel, my career in healthcare has shaped how I support others. I’ve been a Registered Nurse for over 11 years, earning my LPN diploma through NorQuest College and later completing my Bachelor of Nursing through Athabasca University. Much of my work has been in high-pressure environments, from dialysis and infusion therapy to teaching future nurses as a clinical instructor. These experiences showed me the incredible resilience people are capable of — but also the gaps in our healthcare system when it comes to stress, mental health, and whole-person care.
That’s why I decided to become a Holistic Nurse Coach & Consultant through The CIINDE. This certification allows me to combine my medical background with holistic tools like yoga therapy, mindfulness, breathwork, and lifestyle coaching. As a consultant, I partner with clients to look at the bigger picture: not just treating symptoms, but identifying patterns, addressing root causes, and creating personalized strategies for long-term well-being.
Through Integrative Yoga & Wellness, I offer:
Yoga therapy practices to support anxiety, depression, sleep issues, and trauma recovery
Breathwork and mindfulness techniques for calming the nervous system and building emotional resilience
Holistic nurse coaching and consulting for lifestyle changes, self-care planning, and nervous system regulation
Evidence-based, compassionate guidance that blends science with soul
People choose to work with me because I bring together the knowledge of a nurse, the depth of a yoga therapist, and the supportive presence of a coach. My goal is to meet you where you are, walk alongside you in your journey, and give you practical tools to feel more balanced, calm, and empowered in your daily life.
When I’m not teaching or coaching, I’m at home in Beaumont, Alberta with my husband, our two kids, and two dogs. I love being outdoors, moving my body, and enjoying life’s simple, grounding moments.
My hope is that when you step into this space, you feel encouraged and supported — knowing that healing is possible, and that together we can create a plan that nurtures your nervous system, mind, and body for lasting wellness.
