In Phase 1, we gently lay the groundwork for healing by reconnecting with the body and learning how the nervous system truly works. Many people live in a state of constant survival without even realizing it. This phase helps you understand your body’s signals, normalize your responses, and begin to shift from fear and reactivity into awareness and grounded presence.

Through education, guided somatic practices, and simple tools for daily life, you’ll begin to befriend your nervous system—not as something that’s “broken,” but as a wise system that’s been doing its best to protect you.

You’ll explore:

  • How your nervous system responds to stress, trauma, and overwhelm
  • What it means to feel safe in your body
  • Grounding, orienting, and interoceptive tools to support regulation
  • How to use embodiment as a resource—even when things feel hard

This is the beginning of coming home to yourself—not by force, but with gentleness, curiosity, and compassion.
